Heat Pumps
HIGH-EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMPS — Built for New England. Designed for your home.
Burns Mechanical installs high-performance cold-climate heat pump systems throughout Newport County and Rhode Island. Proper sizing, expert installation and clean workmanship — every time.
How They Work
One system. Year-round comfort.
Heat pumps move heat rather than generate it — extracting warmth from outdoor air even in cold temperatures and delivering it inside. In summer, the process reverses to provide efficient cooling. Modern cold-climate heat pumps operate effectively well below 0°F, making them an excellent choice for New England homes.
Compared to traditional heating systems, heat pumps can deliver two to four times more energy than they consume, significantly reducing operating costs while maintaining comfort throughout the year.
